BELLIS PERENNIS

Picture
Bellis Perennis is a simple plant to grow and look after. Plant in Mid summer so to plant in the Autumn to over Winter, of course you can always plant early in the season to get some first year colour. Bellis is hardy enough to survive most winters. Dead head to prolong the flowering season. Towards the end of the season, let some of the flowers go to seed so you can collect to grow more the next year if you wish. Its always good to have plants to be able to swop with neighbours or others that grow plants.

Above is a picture of the foliage of Bellis, it is similar to the Daisies that are always a nuisance in the lawn. Although Bellis is a little larger, just remember where you planted it..... Below is a full guide to Bellis Perennis.
