Petunias are simple and easy to grow, ideal for hanging baskets and containers. The trailing variety for hanging baskets and the upright variety for containers. Fairly easy to grow from seed although they can be a little hit and miss. However they are worth the effort to grow. So many colours and options with Petunias you can find one to fit any needs.

The summer is bringing out the best in the bedding plants, although the sun is playing havoc with some of them. There doesn't appear to be enough water to go round. In fact we have not seen any rain here for nearly 3 weeks. I am not complaining about the sun, as we, here in the UK tend to have wet summers. So to have lots of sun is a blessing for us, but not for the garden plants as they need plenty if water during the growing season. So at least my Nemesia are happy.
