Wallflower, usually they are annuals, but they will sometimes survive into more years after. This is an annual but is now 3 years old. Many hardy annuals will survive and flower again the year after, So at the end of the season consider before ripping them out and dumping them. Although it is soon time to plant next years wallflowers, As the plant gets older it becomes leggy and woody, so rather than cut it all back, it is easier to just replace it, although I run mine in a 2 year cycle, some are new and some are a little older, once they are leggy and woody I replace them.
My name is Jonathan and I enjoy working in my garden in my spare time. I am no professional, just an amateur. My second love is photography, shooting the flowers in my garden and of course sharing them with people who share my passions.
