Muscari, or more commonly known as Grape Hyacinths, although not to be confused with actual Hyacinths. A nice easy bulb to grow, in fact one of the easiest you can get. Quick spreading, so a small patch with soon become a large patch, which is fine, as you can always lift and plant in another spot, or give to neighbours. The most common is the blue above, although there are some lighter shades of blue and white, also two tone colours. Many to choose from. very low maintenance like most bulbs, will just need dead heading after the blooms have faded, then when the leaves begin to fade and turn yellow, will pull out easily until next year.
My name is Jonathan and I enjoy working in my garden in my spare time. I am no professional, just an amateur. My second love is photography, shooting the flowers in my garden and of course sharing them with people who share my passions.
