Centaurea Montana is an extremely easy plant to grow, like most from the Knapweed family. Although it can be very invasive and spread very easily. As long as it is kept under control it is a beautiful addition to the garden. More details about Montana can be found under the A-Z section. I have a few well established clumps and they always try to spread around the garden. The plus side of Montana is once flowering has finished cut them back to the ground and Montana will flower again before the season is out. So what are you waiting for? get some into the garden. Montana will be okay in areas that some other plants will not grow. I have a clump in full sun and one in partial shade and they are both doing just fine.
