Fritillara, Snakes Head, a stunning flower for any garden, like most other spring bulbs, plant and forget. Just enjoy when they poke there heads out of the ground and then flower to please us all. Long lasting blooms and Fritillaries will spread with time. The foliage will die back naturally after the flowers have finished, once the leaves start to yellow, the spike can then be pulled out from the ground, it should give easily, if not leave it for longer. Once the foliage has been removed, just wait for another year for the plant to reappear.
My name is Jonathan and I enjoy working in my garden in my spare time. I am no professional, just an amateur. My second love is photography, shooting the flowers in my garden and of course sharing them with people who share my passions.
