Quince, is the sole member of the genus Cydonia in the family Rosaceae, the same family as apples and pears. Beautiful Orange flowers in the spring, which later turns into fruit which trough history has been used as food. The tree is also grow for the blossom. Fruits are generally too hard and tart to be eaten raw, generally they are cooked, roasted and used in jams, marmalade, jellies or pudding. Although I am generalising here as there are many uses for Quince's.
My name is Jonathan and I enjoy working in my garden in my spare time. I am no professional, just an amateur. My second love is photography, shooting the flowers in my garden and of course sharing them with people who share my passions.
