Above is the wild Foxglove that we all see in the hedgerows and woods around the UK, it can pretty much grow anywhere in full sun to full shade. The only tolerance it doesn't have is very dry or very wet conditions.

Foxgloves come in many different colours now from pink, white to more fanciful yellow and even strawberry colour. There are also varieties with small flowers.

As you can see the foliage is quite simple and easy to recognise. Just remember that all parts to the plant are toxic and care should be taken when handling the plant,
